Couer d'Alene Summer Theatre

 Van, Maddie, and I have been attending the CDA Summer Theatre for the past few years.  It's a tradition that began with my parents and Uncle Bob & Aunt Sherrel 20 years ago. The theatre has been in operation for over 50 years now.  The cast is a combination of professional, semi-professional, and local talent.

July 25th's Anastasia Musical was outstanding! I enjoyed it more than some of the Best of Broadway shows I have attended. The choreography was innovative and perfectly timed.  The chorus was a strong compliment to the lead vocalists. I was especially impressed by the train which rolled across the stage with people seated on trolley carts with suspended windows. Very creatively done.

I am looking forward to the next performance in August, "She Loves Me" a musical I have not yet seen.
