Unfocused
Establishing a new daily routine is the goal for April-May 2025.
My typical working routine was to awake at 6 am, out of bed by 6:30 am, and back in bed by 10 pm.
Since retiring, I have been awake at 6 am, in bed until 9 or 10 am, and back in bed for sleep between 12 am and 2 am.
It is time to return to "normal" not just for sleep habits, but for many things. A "permanent vacation" is just not my style. To be honest, maybe it is my style, but it is not what I want, and it does not leave much satisfaction. I have spent a day here and there "fluttering" between activities and accomplishing little.
What have I been doing?
cleaning and organizing
dabbling in sketching and watercolor
Experiencing Van Gogh
exploring "side hustle" ideas
exploring downsizing ideas
garbage management
looking after Maddie and pets
making breakfast for my husband
managing treatments and medical appointments
napping
playing "mindful" games on the tablet
reading
RS things
shopping online
temple work
thinking about sewing and quilting
visiting and meeting new people
watching General Conference and "The Chosen"
weeding a garden bed
What do I want to do?
Thinking back on "my why" to help me focus.
