Thanksgiving

This week I have enjoyed the privilege of work, the benefits of medicine, and the loving connection with husband, sisters, children, and good friends, and encouraging support of coworkers.

I have listened to extraordinary podcasts on faith, charity, and love, listened to prophets and apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ share their faith and strength of testimony, enjoyed hours of reading a historical fiction novel, bonded with pets, and indulged in Black Friday craft supply sales.

I have felt peace despite worry over health, prognosis, and uncertainty about the future.

I have felt both strong and weak, capable and overwhelmed, peaceful and anxious.  I have learned that both can exist without diminishing the reality of my being a daughter of God, worthy yet flawed, of his love and grace.

I have felt loved.

I am so thankful for these gifts.
