Baby, it's cold outside

Oh it's cold outside.  And we are toasty inside will full tummies from our Thanksgiving meal.

I was so surprised when my 10# turkey only took 1 1/2 hours to roast.  Fortunately most everything else was prepared just waiting to cook.  So we had dinner at noon.  I think that is almost a first for us -otherwise traditionally late for most all things.

Among the things that have my gratitude this year - employment, family, and winter boots. Along with traditions and memories, and a way to record them.

And a day to relax and rest from regular life and a day of play for the kids.
