Hmm...

Dr visit yesterday for chinstrap.  He's been complaining inconsistently of pain in his right foot since a week ago Friday when he tripped over a curb and hit a utility box.  Turns out to be a sprained great toe.
Dr visit today for Gentoo, as she has been exceptionally tired.  Results indicate a change in medication for 3 days to see if it helps.
Dr Visit today for Galapagos who has been experiencing weird things like vertigo, nausea, poor motor coordination, and poor verbal function.  It began Monday with symptoms lasting about 3 hours.  It repeated on Tuesday, and then more mildly today.   MRI scheduled for tomorrow just to rule out some things.   Nothing to get too worried over.  I asked the Dr if there is an ICD code for "wierd stuff" and learned that there isn't but there is one for giggling.   Hmm...
New addition to the family by way of one female 1 1/2 year old dachshund named "Lena" short for "Picolina" ('little woman' in Italian).   She has quickly attached herself to Humbolt.  A good match for both.
The Emperor and Rockhopper lack enthusiasm for Lena but at least they are tolerant since she is here to stay :-)
So true animalia in our home includes our colony plus one mini-schnauzer "Eddie", one persian cat "Coco", and now "Lena". I think our colony is settled at least for a few more years

MRI showed no abnormalities. I learned today that there is a virus going around like this - totally weird. It's like someone inhabited my brain for 3-4 hours the past 4 days.
