Spokanada or Spokartica????

Okay, so many of us were thinking that it was going to be a fairly mild winter .... 24 inches in 24 hours and more to come!

So, no driving possible. We spent 3 hours clearing our driveway and digging out the cars only to get stuck repeatedly after moving 5 feet and being pulled out 3-4 times. Our Home Teachers came over expecting to shovel several feet off our driveway and only found inches but their car got stuck for a few minutes too.They made an earlier trip to the store to get chains, but alas the shelves are already empty. So I've begun a list of things we need - like extra boots, gloves, and more. We're ok for now but if this lasted a few weeks, or we lost power it could be challenging. Reminders of ice storm - yikes!
